It’s been a tough year, full of exciting challenges and really fun times, and I’m sad to see it coming to a close. But! I know I’ll be around for a long time to come, so it’s only slightly bittersweet. 

As I mentioned in an earlier post, next Friday—July 12, 2013—will mark the one year anniversary of my first published theme here on tumblr. Glitchy and horrible, #1 {Return to Sender} was born out of too much time listening to Elvis in one ear and the Naruto soundtrack in another, and not enough time doing homework for the extra classes I was taking at the time. I’ve come a long way from then, eh? With a grand total of 39 (and counting) publicly published themes and pages; 41,741+ hits on my various pastebin documents; and 2,611+ followers, I like to think that’s the case.

Really, I’d be happy if one person took the time to use a theme of mine, and the fact that all of y’all think my work is good enough to put on your blog is more than a little overwhelming for me. I’m just an awkward seventeen-year-old with too much time on her hands, and it’s an absolute pleasure to work with all of you guys!

So, to celebrate, I’ve decided to give a little something back to y’all. I’ll be choosing the winner on the twelfth, and he/she/etc. will receive brand new copies of:

The first three items are great tools for anyone of any age looking for some web design experience—or even if you already know how to speak the language! I, myself, can attest especially to the value of the pocket reference guide, as I have a copy for myself. 

And, of course, I had to include a bit of Naruto! After standing in Barnes & Noble for a solid hour, debating what to get, I finally settled on my two favorite volumes in the series—vol. 47, which covers the end of Naruto’s battle with Pein and the meeting he has with Minato, and vol. 53, when Naruto battles Kurama and meets Kushina. 

The last item is the result of the fact that I don’t live anywhere near a proper toy store (and therefore don’t have access to a decent selection of stuffed animals). I really, really wanted to include something that represented the fact that, hey, I’m red fox themes. There’s got to be a fox in here somewhere, right? This is the closest I could find, so don’t try to take this too seriously, ‘kay? At the very least, you get a free account on the site!

In total, this is a $91 value, not including the cost of shipping.

So, to recap: I’ll be randomly choosing my winner on July 12, 2013. I’ll let everyone know who this fabulous, lucky person is, and they we’ll converse privately about how I’ll get the package to you. If my winner is of a questionably young age, I’d like to double-check with a parent to make sure it’s cool that you’re giving out personal information, but I don’t think there will be any problem.
